Rehearsals: Wednesday 6 pm -7.30 pm
At present the choir consists of about 70 singers who are professionals, alumni and students. This choir offers singers between 25 and 50 years an opportunity of pursuing an interesting hobby as well as a chance to create a platform for professional networking for women from various professions. The rehearsals have been deliberately placed at an “after work” time so that you can sing immediately after your work. In addition, these timings enable women with smaller children to join the choir.
On the 9th of Oct. 2011 the choir sang a concert at the Vienna council house with a Jazz and Pop repertoire and on 10th and 11th Dec. two Christmas concerts were sung at the main hall of the Vienna University including the „Altrhapsodie“ and other works by Brahms. In spring 2012 a gospel concert will be performed and, due to popular demand, the Carmina Burana will be repeated in the main hall of the Vienna Concert House. The choir will also hold a workshop in Italy in May 2012.
